Let's have and enjoy local experiences in Hiroshima!

Originally from Tokyo. After graduating from college, I worked for a translating company and made subtitles, because I like watching movies so much. 2008‐2010, I had lived in Virginia, US, due to my husband’s studying there. We had been helped by the local volunteers such as conversation partners, regional guides, seasonal event holders, and so on. Thanks to their support, we had spent very precious days there. In 2014, our family moved to Hiroshima following my husband’s job transfer.

Since 2015 I have been a member of an organization, “Hello Hiroshima”, which provides guiding activities for foreigners at JR Hiroshima station. I fully enjoy my life here, learning Hiroshima’s history and culture, and having the local dishes with my husband and kids. I love people in Hiroshima. They are warm-hearted and proud of their hometown. I would like you to enjoy local experiences in this wonderful place, Hiroshima.
