Let's experience and enjoy "Day-to-Day HIROSHIMA" together !
I was born and grew up in the city of Hiroshima, Japan until I graduated from high school.
Then I attended university in the city of Shizuoka. Shizuoka is a beautiful city that has a wonderful view of Japan’s famous Mt. Fuji.
I took my first overseas trip when I was 26 years old. That experience was unforgettable and since then I have travelled overseas frequently.
After 15 years of society life, I decided to study abroad in Toronto, Canada. There, I had the opportunity to meet many people, do volunteer work at a local church and experience typical daily life in Canada’s largest city.
This experience has helped me to appreciate how important it is to understand each other's culture by meeting and living among people of different backgrounds. A typical sightseeing trip cannot replace this type of experience.
Since returning to Hiroshima, I have participated in volunteer activities such as guiding foreign tourists around Hiroshima station and assisting them in having ""brief exchanges"" with local people.
This is why I'd like to introduce you to our local people and show you how they live their day-to-day lives.
Unlike a typical sightseeing tour, I want you to experience and enjoy Hiroshima's local daily life, cityscape and to meet its local people, as I once had the opportunity to experience life in a foreign country.
