Explore unique spots in Hiroshima with an experienced local guide
I grew up and live in Hiroshima. I majored in design at a junior college in Kyoto.
I used to work as a costume designer.
Later on, I studied English and works of art in London. I also worked as a tour conductor.
Now I also work at a facility in Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park. Through the work, I have had lots of opportunities to talk with foreign visitors, and then I got motivated to tell visitors more about Hiroshima and became a Hiroshima Prefectural Government Licensed Guide Interpreter in 2019.
I would like to tell visitors the importance of peace through Atomic Bomb survivor’s stories.
And moreover, Hiroshima has a lot of beautiful nature.
Miyajima, for example, has the Itsukushima shrine floating on the sea and primeval forest behind the shrine complex. If you climb up to the summit of Mt Misen on Miyajima, you will see an amazing panoramic view.
I really want you to explore unique spots in Hiroshima.
