By hanging out with me, you can experience what is a typical Japanese person like!
I was born and raised in Hiroshima. I graduated from Hiroshima city university, and my major was in international politics. While I was in university, I was interested in ethnic conflicts and I wrote my graduation essay about the perspectives of kids in Israel and Palestine and how their religion and society affects their perspectives.
After graduating, I was working as a social worker at the facility for severe mentally and physically handicapped children. After quitting the job, I went to the UK to study English. During the school holiday, I did backpacking and traveled around Europe. The traveling experience made me realize how interesting getting to know new people who are from different cultures and have different values is.
Now I’m working at the company dealing with fashion retail with my parents. Also working as a tour guide for foreign visitors in Hiroshima. Mainly my tours are bar hopping tours but I also do other ones.
My previous jobs and current ones have similarities with each other. The similarities are understanding people, (what they want, what they need, where they want to go and general hospitality) making efforts to satisfy their requests, solving their problems and making them happy.
When I’m dealing with people, I always care about others feelings, and think about others first. I try not to forget about “connection “ and “ gratitude “.
I'm sure most people think I'm typically Japanese. By hanging out with me you will experience typical Japanese culture.
My recommendations are Yokogawa and Fukuromachi area. There are so many cute, unique, and cool cafes in small alleys or in buildings. Also there are many hidden Izakayas (pubs in Japanese) and bars only locals know!
Let’s go explore Hiroshima together and we can go to hidden places that would be difficult to find by yourself! Can’t wait to see you!
