Born and raised in Hiroshima, I moved back to my hometown in 2016 after 4 years of college near Osaka and spending 18 months in Vancouver, Canada.

I work for a local English language media company called GetHiroshima and have been working to bridge the gap between “Hiroshima”, the world-famous A-bombed city, and the Hiroshima I know and love.

I enjoy nothing better than helping visitors find opportunities to raise a glass and break bread with locals in their favorite places. In my free time, I like discovering great food and new places to share with friends, old and new. Join me and I’ll show you my Hiroshima, the Hiroshima of today.
