Let me guide you on the Honkawa Riverwalk Tour and the Setouchi Islands exploration
I was born and grown up in Hiroshima. After spending a college life in Tokyo, I had lived in some big cities and worked for some companies and laboratories where lots of English-speaking people were working. After returning to my hometown in 2011, I had enjoyed helping English-speaking researchers and students from Asia and Africa, working for Hiroshima University. In 2019 I was qualified as a Hiroshima Prefectural licensed Guide Interpreter.
Six rivers running through the Hiroshima City, there are many paths along the rivers. Why not taking a walk along the Honkawa River, seeing cherry blossoms in spring and colorful scenery in autumn, going to local supermarkets and parks and so on? I also recommend you go to the Tobishima islands in the Seto Inland Sea where oranges and lemons are harvested mostly in winter with its mild climate. Traditional buildings and the residents’ hospitality will ease you!
